Welcome to PALMLearn

What is PALMLearn?

PALMLearn is a learning site dedicated to supporting PALM scheme employers, their staff, host employers and other stakeholders meet their obligations under the PALM scheme Approved Employer Deed of Agreement (the deed) and the PALM scheme Approved Employer Guidelines (the guidelines).

We have developed courses that are cover a range of themes:

  • understanding deed and guidelines obligations
  • worker welfare and wellbeing support
  • cultural competency.

How do I access courses?

You will need to register to be able to access PALMLearn

To register, go to palmlearn.gov.au and follow the instructions. Once you have submitted the registration form, it will be reviewed. If your registration is approved, you will receive notification and you can then login to PALMLearn.

For more information, please review the PALMLearn registration factsheet and PALMLearn login factsheet for step-by-step instructions.

Which courses should I do?

Unless the deed or guidelines states you must complete specific courses (such as for cultural competency), courses are not mandatory, and you can choose to complete some or all of the courses.

Courses available will be updated regularly, so check back to see what is new.

Where are the PALM scheme Cultural Toolkits?

The PALM scheme Cultural Toolkits are now available in PALMLearn. If you have already completed PALM scheme Cultural Toolkit courses, we have retained your completion records. If you want to review the content, you will need to enrol in the course again in PALMLearn.

How long are the courses?

Each course varies, but we have tried to keep courses under 30 minutes. You don’t have to complete a course in one sitting – you can come back at any time.

You can complete courses as many times as you like - they are here to help you meet your PALM scheme deed and guideline obligations.

How do I enrol into a course?

Once you have registered and had your application approved, you can select any course to self-enrol.

To enrol in a course:
