If you need help with work, pay, accommodation, health, safety or your wellbeing, there are people and services available to support you.

The support service is monitored from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm AEST. If there is a serious problem, you can call the support service line any time of the day or night.
Support in your language
Country Liaison Officer or Labour Attachés can provide support and guidance while you are living and working in Australia. Contact details are available on the PALM scheme Contact page.
Interpreting services are also available through the Translating and Interpreting (TIS) National Service. You can contact TIS National by calling (131 450) 24 hours a day, 7 day per week.
What do you need help with?
My pay, work conditions or workplace rights
If you have questions about your pay, hours of work, deductions, leave or workplace rights:
- You can speak with your employer.
- If you still have concerns, contact the Fair Work Ombudsman.

The Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) can provide information about employment conditions, pay rates and entitlements, and can help if you are concerned about your pay or workplace conditions.
My accommodation or living arrangements
If you have concerns about your accommodation, transport, facilities or living arrangements:
- You can speak with your employer.
- You can contact the PALM scheme support service if you need further assistance.
- You can also seek support from your Country Liaison Officer or Labour Attaché.
My health, safety or wellbeing
If you are feeling unwell, injured, unsafe or need support:
- If it is an emergency, call 000 immediately.
- Seek medical assistance if required.
- Contact the PALM scheme support service on (1800 51 51 31).
- Speak with your Country Liaison Officer or Labour Attaché.
I feel unsafe or have experienced harm
Help is available if you are experiencing:
- violence or abuse
- sexual harassment
- bullying
- discrimination
- exploitation
- threats or intimidation.
